It’s here! Our very first prank at www.safepranks.net: How to put a stapler in Jello or Knox gelatin is a practical joke made famous in the hit TV show The Office. It’s the perfect way to play a trick on a coworker who has a favorite stapler, coffee mug or other durable office supply. This recipe doesn’t skimp on the gelatin, which means you’ll get a set so firm it will last for days.

1. Sneak off with stapler and assemble the following: full box (32 packets) Knox clear gelatin, 1/2 packet colored Jello gelatin, boiling water, cool water, durable rubber container large enough to hold stapler with space above and below it, two rulers, dental floss or fishing line and scissors.
2. Fill container nearly half-full with cool tap water. Sprinkle contents of all 32 packets of Knox gelatin onto water and stir. Add equal ratio of boiling water and continue stirring until gelatin is dissolved. Add 1/2 packet of colored Jello and stir. (Adding only half a packet will color the gelatin while still leaving it transparent enough to see the stapler clearly.)
3. Use dental floss or fishing line tied around two rulers to suspend stapler in gelatin. Be sure to place the stapler upside-down so when you flip the container over it will be facing upright, which is how you will place the mold on your victim’s desk.
4. Let Jello set in refrigerator overnight. Once set, place container in tray of very hot water to loosen it. Carefully flip upside down onto a piece of cardboard, or even directly on the desk! Enjoy the look on your coworker’s face.
